MINISTRIES at Local
Local Kids exists to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere where children can play, learn, and grow in their understanding of God and the Bible. Each class has at least two thoroughly vetted adult volunteers ready to engage with your child and point them to Jesus. See our current Sunday classes below.
This class meets every Sunday and focuses on play and a simple Bible story. We use The Beginner's Gospel Story Bible by Jared Kennedy as the Bible focus for this class.
(4 years old and under)
This class meets every Sunday and focuses on Bible stories and discussion while incorporating videos, games, and activities. We use The Jesus Storybook Bible curriculum by Sally Lloyd-Jones for this class.
Younger Local Kids (5 years old - 2nd grade)
This class meets every other Sunday and focuses on Bible stories and discussion while incorporating videos, games, and activities. We use The Gospel Project curriculum by Lifeway for this class.
Older Local Kids (3rd - 6th grade)
Local Students exists to provide a welcoming atmosphere for 7th-12th grade students to explore faith and grow in relationship with the Lord and with one another. We meet weekly on Sunday evenings from 7-8:30pm at the building and enjoy snacks, games, large group teaching, and small group discussion. We also host various events throughout the year, including bonfire nights, holiday parties, lake outings, and much more.
